Dominify Terms of Service

Dominify (the "App") is a puzzle game made by the developer DGSTUDIO (the "Developer"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. These Terms are a translation of the Korean original; if the two differ, the Korean version prevails to the extent permitted by law.

Article 1 (Service)

The App is a domino picture puzzle: each board is a picture, and you complete it by placing dominoes that connect two neighboring cells. It provides built-in puzzles in 10 stages and a feature that turns a photo you choose into a domino puzzle you can solve. There is no sign-up, and the game runs on your device.

Article 2 (Photos you choose and puzzles made from them)

1. You may only use photos that you took yourself or that you have permission to use from the rights holders (such as the copyright owner or the person pictured).

2. You must not use the following photos:

· Photos containing other people's works (artwork, characters, scenes from comics or films, logos, photographers' works, etc.) without the rights holder's permission

· Photos showing another person's face or likeness without that person's consent

· Photos that are unlawful or that harm the rights or reputation of others

3. You hold the rights to, and are responsible for, your photos and the puzzles made from them. You are responsible for any dispute or damage arising from a breach of paragraph 2.

4. Photos are converted into puzzle data (the number of pips in each cell, the solution layout of the dominoes and the color of each cell) only on your device and are never sent to the Developer or made public. The Developer does not access your photos or puzzles and has no right to use, modify or distribute them.

5. You can delete a photo puzzle at any time from the "My Photos" list in the App.

Article 3 (Coins and paid items)

1. Coins can be earned by playing, by watching ads, or by purchasing them in the App, and can be spent on helpers (hints and checks) and on creating photo puzzles. Coins cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods and cannot be transferred to anyone else.

2. Payments for paid items (the Starter Pack, coin packs, Remove Ads, Unlimited Photo Patterns, etc.) are processed by the App Store or Google Play, and cancellations and refunds follow each store's policies and procedures. Coins that have already been spent may not be eligible for a refund.

3. The Starter Pack (1,000 coins + 5 hints + 3 checks) can be purchased only once. Coin packs come in four sizes: 500, 1,800, 4,000 and 8,000 coins.

4. Remove Ads, Unlimited Photo Patterns and the Remove Ads + Unlimited Photos bundle are permanent items. Permanent items are recorded to the App Store or Google Play account you bought them with, so they are restored when you reinstall the App with the same account, and after changing devices you can recover them by tapping "Restore Purchases" in the App with the same account (they cannot be moved between the App Store and Google Play).

5. Coins, hints and checks, free photo puzzle tickets and your game progress are stored on your device and also in your own iCloud (iPhone, iPad) or Google Play Games (Android), so you can continue on devices of the same kind signed in to the same account. If you delete the App or clear its data before the cloud save has been made, or move to a different kind of device (iPhone ↔ Android), your coins (including purchased coins), consumable items and progress will not carry over, and the Developer cannot restore them. The permanent items in paragraph 4 can be recovered with "Restore Purchases".

6. Your first photo puzzle is free. After that, creating one costs coins or uses a free ticket (given when a new stage opens). With Unlimited Photo Patterns you can create them without coins. Coins are earned when you complete a built-in puzzle for the first time, not when you complete it again or complete a photo puzzle. Prices and rewards may change to keep the game running well.

Article 3-2 (Ads)

The App shows two kinds of ads, provided by Google AdMob.

1. Opening ad: shown once when you open the App, or when you come back to it after 1 hour or more. It is not shown the first time you open the App after installing, and it stops appearing once you purchase "Remove Ads" or the "Remove Ads + Unlimited Photos" bundle (it still appears if you have only purchased coins or Unlimited Photo Patterns).

2. Rewarded ads: shown only when you choose to watch them, and you receive a reward after watching to the end: 20 coins in the shop (up to 15 times a day), double the coins for completing a built-in puzzle for the first time, or one free helper when you are stuck. Because you choose to watch them, rewarded ads remain available even after you purchase "Remove Ads".

Article 4 (Intellectual property)

The rights to the App's software, screen design, artwork, built-in puzzles, sound effects and so on belong to the Developer (open source components included in the App follow their own licenses, which you can view under "Info > Open Source Licenses" in the App). You may not copy, distribute or sell them without the Developer's permission.

Article 5 (Limitation of liability)

1. The Developer strives to provide the App reliably, but the App may stop working or saved data may be lost due to device conditions or operating system changes. Unless caused by the Developer's intent or gross negligence, the Developer is not liable for this.

2. The Developer is not responsible for the content of photos you use or for disputes arising from their use.

Article 6 (Changes to these Terms)

The Developer may change these Terms when necessary and will announce the changed Terms through an App update or a notice in the App.
