Knotify Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 4, 2026

Knotify (the "App") is a yarn puzzle game made by the developer DGSTUDIO (the "Developer"). This policy explains what information the App handles and how.

1. Personal information collected by the Developer: none

· The App has no sign-up or login, and the Developer runs no servers.

· The Developer does not collect or keep information such as your name, email, phone number, location or contacts.

· No analytics tools are used. Ads, payments and cloud saving are handled by the outside services listed in section 6.

2. Photos

· When you tap "Make from photo", your phone's system photo picker opens, and only the one photo you choose is passed to the App. The App does not access your whole photo library (on iPhone/iPad it does not ask for photo library permission).

· The chosen photo is turned into a pattern (color information for each cell plus the boards) on your device. The original photo is not stored, and any temporary file made for the conversion is deleted right away.

· Photos and patterns are not sent to the Developer or any third party. The original photo is never uploaded anywhere; the pattern may be kept only in your own account through the cloud saving in section 3.

3. Information stored on your phone and in your own account

· Patterns made from photos, completed patterns and stars, the board in progress, coins, tickets, hints and purchased items, and sound, vibration, language and finish settings are stored on your phone.

· This information is not sent to the Developer. It is deleted when you delete the App or clear the App's data in your phone settings. You can also delete patterns one by one from the "My Photos" list.

· Depending on your phone's backup settings, it may be included in iCloud Backup (your own Apple account) or Android Auto Backup (your own Google account).

· Cloud saving: so you can continue on a new phone, completed patterns and stars, coins, tickets and hints, purchase status, and patterns made from photos (cell colors and boards) are saved in your own iCloud (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play Games Saved Games (Android). Original photos, sound/vibration/language/finish settings and the board in progress are not uploaded. This storage belongs to your own account; the Developer cannot access or receive it. Data moves only between devices of the same kind on the same account, and the cloud copy remains if you delete the App. You can turn it off or delete it in your iCloud or Google Play Games settings.

4. Permissions

· Vibration (Android): used for short vibrations when you link yarn or complete a picture.

· Internet: used to load ads, process payments and for cloud saving (section 3).

· App Tracking Transparency (iPhone/iPad): the App asks once for permission to use the advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized ads. The game and ad rewards are the same whether or not you allow it.

· The App does not request location, contacts, camera or microphone permissions.

5. Children's privacy

The Developer does not directly collect anyone's personal information. Information handled by the ad provider is described in section 6.

6. Information handled by outside services

The services below handle information under their own privacy policies; the Developer does not receive or keep that information.

· Google AdMob (ads): shows ads when you tap a rewarded ad (coins or a hint) and when you start the App or return after a long time. Advertising IDs (Android advertising ID, or IDFA if allowed), IP address, device and app information, and ad view/click information may be processed. In regions where consent is required, you are asked for consent first and can change it in the App under "Info > Ad privacy options". (policies.google.com/privacy)

· App Store / Google Play (payments): handle payment and purchase-verification information when you buy coins or items. Card and other payment details are handled by Apple and Google; the Developer does not receive them.

· Apple iCloud / Google Play Games Services (cloud saving): keep the data in section 3 in your own account. Play Games signs in with your Play Games profile. (apple.com/legal/privacy · policies.google.com/privacy)

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date will be updated and the change announced with an App update.
