Purlify Terms of Use

Effective date: September 25, 2026

Purlify (the "App") is a knitting puzzle game made by the developer DGSTUDIO (the "Developer"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Article 1 (Service)

The App offers puzzles in which you complete built-in patterns stitch by stitch, a feature that turns a photo you choose into a knitting pattern you can knit, and a collection of the items made from your finished patterns. There is no sign-up or log-in, and every feature runs on your device.

Article 2 (Photos you choose and the patterns made from them)

1. Use only photos you took yourself or that you have permission to use from the rights holders (copyright, portrait rights, etc.).

2. Do not use:

· photos containing other people's works (drawings, characters, comic or film scenes, logos, photographers' works, etc.) without the rights holder's permission

· photos showing another person's face or likeness without that person's consent

· photos that break the law or harm other people's rights or reputation

3. You hold the rights and responsibility for your photos and the patterns made from them. You are responsible for any dispute or damage caused by breaking paragraph 2.

4. Photos are turned into patterns (a color for each stitch) only on your device and are never sent to the Developer or made public. The Developer does not access your photos or patterns and has no right to use, modify or distribute them.

5. You can delete a pattern at any time from the "My Photos" list in the App.

Article 3 (Coins and paid items)

1. Coins are earned by playing, by watching ads, or by purchase in the App, and can be spent on helpers (hint, basket slot, shuffle, magnet), characters and making photo patterns. Coins cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods, or transferred to others.

2. Paid items (coin packs, the Starter Pack, No Ads, Unlimited Photos, the bundle of both, stitch styles) are processed by the App Store or Google Play, and cancellations and refunds follow each store's policies and procedures. Coins already spent may be excluded from refunds.

3. The Starter Pack can be bought only once. "No Ads", "Unlimited Photos", the bundle of both and stitch styles are permanent items and can be recovered on a new device with "Restore purchases" in the App.

4. Coins and progress are saved on your device and also in your own iCloud (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play Games (Android), so you can continue on another device of the same kind with the same account. If you delete the App or its data while cloud saving isn't working, or move to a different kind of device (iPhone ↔ Android), your coins and progress won't carry over and the Developer cannot restore them (permanent items can be recovered with "Restore purchases").

5. Your first photo pattern is free; after that it costs coins or a free ticket (given each time a new stage opens). Coins are earned when you complete a built-in pattern for the first time, not when you complete it again or complete a photo pattern. Prices and rewards may change for game operation.

Article 4 (Ads)

The App shows two kinds of ads. (1) Rewarded ads you watch only when you tap them — watch to the end to receive a reward such as coins or a basket slot (limited per day). (2) An opening ad shown once when you start the App or return after a long time — it doesn't appear on the very first launch, and stops for good once you buy "No Ads" (or the bundle); other purchases do not remove it. There are no ads forced on you in the middle of play. Ads are provided by Google AdMob.

Article 5 (Intellectual property)

The rights to the App's program, screen design, art, characters, built-in patterns, sound effects, etc. belong to the Developer (open-source components included in the App follow their own licenses, viewable under "Settings > Info > Open Source Licenses" in the App). You may not copy, distribute or sell them without the Developer's permission.

Article 6 (Limitation of liability)

1. The Developer strives to provide the App reliably, but the App may stop working or saved data may be lost due to your device environment or operating-system changes, and the Developer is not liable for this unless caused intentionally or by gross negligence.

2. The Developer is not responsible for the content of photos you use or for disputes arising from their use.

Article 7 (Changes to the Terms)

The Developer may change these Terms when necessary and will announce the changes through an App update or a notice in the App.
