Skylumi Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2026
Skylumi (the "App") is a drone light show puzzle game made by the developer DGSTUDIO (the "Developer"). This policy explains what information the App handles and how.
1. Personal information collected by the Developer: none
· The App has no sign-up or login, and the Developer runs no servers.
· The Developer does not collect or keep information such as your name, email, phone number, location or contacts.
· The App uses no analytics tools. Ads, payments, cloud saving and part of the background removal feature are handled by the outside services listed in section 7.
2. Photos
· When you tap "Create from a photo", your phone's system photo picker opens and only the one photo you choose is passed to the App. The App does not read your whole photo library (on iPhone/iPad, it does not ask for permission to read your photo library).
· The chosen photo is processed on your device to remove the background and keep only the subject (iPhone/iPad: Apple Vision; Android: Google ML Kit — both run on the device), and is then turned into a drone show design (color information for each grid cell). The original photo is not stored, and temporary files used for the conversion are deleted right away.
· Photos and designs are not sent to the Developer or any third party. Original photos are never uploaded anywhere; designs (cell colors) may be kept only in your own account through the cloud saving described in section 4.
3. Saving pictures
· When you tap "Save photo" on the completion screen, one picture of your finished drone show is added to your phone's photo album. On iPhone/iPad, the App asks once for permission to add photos (it does not read your album). On Android 10 or later, it is saved to the Pictures/Skylumi folder without any permission.
4. Information stored on your phone and in your own account
· The App stores photo designs, completed levels and stars, the show in progress, coins, free tickets, free helper uses, purchased items, and sound, music, vibration, graphics and language settings on your phone.
· This information is not sent to the Developer. It is deleted when you delete the App or clear its data in your phone's settings. You can also delete designs one by one from the "My photos" list.
· Depending on your phone's backup settings, it may be included in iCloud Backup (your own Apple account) or Android Auto Backup (your own Google account).
· Cloud saving: so you can continue on a new phone, completed levels and stars, coins, free tickets, free helper uses, purchase status and photo designs (cell colors) are saved to your own iCloud (iPhone/iPad) or to Saved Games in Google Play Games (Android). Original photos, settings and the show in progress are not uploaded. This storage belongs to your own account, and the Developer cannot access or receive it. Data moves only between devices of the same kind with the same account, and the cloud copy remains if you delete the App. You can turn it off or delete it in iCloud or Google Play Games settings.
5. Permissions and sensors
· Vibration (Android): used for a short vibration when drones arrive. You can turn it off in Settings.
· Internet: used to load ads, process payments, for cloud saving (section 4), and to download the background removal model (Android).
· Add photos (iPhone/iPad): used only when you tap "Save photo" (section 3).
· App Tracking Transparency (iPhone/iPad): the App asks once for permission to use the advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized ads. The game and ad rewards are the same whether or not you allow it.
· Motion sensor: when "Tilt view" is on, the night sky moves slightly as you tilt your phone. This value is used only for the on-screen effect and is not stored or sent.
· The App does not request location, contacts, camera or microphone permissions.
6. Children's privacy
The Developer does not directly collect anyone's personal information. Information handled by the ad provider is described in section 7.
7. Information handled by outside services
The following services handle information under their own privacy policies; the Developer does not receive or keep that information.
· Google AdMob (ads): shows ads when you choose to watch a rewarded ad, and when you open the App or return after a while. The advertising ID (Android advertising ID, or IDFA if you allow it), IP address, device and app information, and ad view and click information may be processed. In regions that require consent, such as Europe, consent is asked first, and you can change it at any time in "Settings & Info > Ad privacy settings". (policies.google.com/privacy)
· App Store / Google Play (payments): process payment and purchase verification information when you buy coins or items. Payment method details such as cards are handled by Apple and Google; the Developer does not receive them.
· Apple iCloud / Google Play Games Services (cloud saving): keep the data described in section 4 in your own account. Play Games signs you in with your Play Games profile. (apple.com/legal/privacy · policies.google.com/privacy)
· Google ML Kit (Android background removal): photos are processed only on the device and are not sent. However, Google Play services downloads the model once, and may send Google diagnostic information about the feature's performance and errors (not the content of your photos).
