Reel to the Stars Terms of Service
Effective date: October 4, 2026
Reel to the Stars (the "App") is a fishing game made by the developer DGSTUDIO (the "Developer"). By installing or using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 1 (Service)
The App is a game in which you play short fishing runs over and over to collect coins and buy upgrades, working your way from a pond to ever-bigger fishing spots, all the way to space. There is no sign-up or login, and all features run on your device. The Steam version (PC/Mac) is sold as a paid game and has no in-app purchases; the mobile version (iPhone/iPad, Android) is free and includes ads and in-app purchases.
Article 2 (Coins and Paid Items)
1. You earn coins by fishing or by collecting Idle Rewards, and in the mobile version you can also buy them in the App's Shop. Coins can only be used to buy upgrades within the game, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other currency or goods, or transferred to anyone else.
2. Payments for paid items in the mobile version (coin packs, the First-Buy Starter Pack, and Remove Ads) are processed by the App Store or Google Play, and cancellations and refunds follow each store's policies and procedures. Coins that have already been spent may be excluded from refunds.
3. The number of coins you receive from a coin pack is based on your earning speed at the time of purchase, and is shown in advance on the Shop screen.
4. The First-Buy Starter Pack can be purchased only once. "Remove Ads" is a permanent item: if you change devices or reinstall the App, you can get it back with "Restore Purchases" in the Shop, using the same App Store or Google Play account.
5. Purchases and refunds for the Steam version follow Steam's policies.
6. Prices, rewards, and game balance may change as needed to operate the game.
Article 3 (Idle Reward)
Once a day, you can receive coins for the time you were away from the App (up to 8 hours). The reward amount is calculated based on your earning speed in recent fishing runs. In the mobile version, you can get double the reward by watching an ad, and if you purchase "Remove Ads," you always get double with no ads. The Steam version always gives double.
Article 4 (Ads)
The mobile version shows two kinds of ads. ① Rewarded ads, which you see only when you choose to tap for one: watch it to the end and your Idle Reward is doubled. ② An opening ad, shown once when you launch the App or when you reopen it after more than an hour: it does not appear the first time you launch the App after installing it, and it no longer appears once you purchase "Remove Ads." No ads are forced on you in the middle of fishing. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, and in regions where consent is required, you can change your choices under Settings > Ad Privacy Options in the App. The Steam version has no ads.
Article 5 (Saved Data)
Your game progress is saved on your device and also in your own iCloud (iPhone/iPad), Google Play Games (Android), or Steam Cloud (the Steam version) account, so you can continue playing on a device of the same type with the same account. If you delete the App or clear the App's data while your progress is not saved to the cloud, or if you move to a different type of device (between iPhone, Android, and Steam), your progress will not carry over, and the Developer cannot restore it for you ("Remove Ads" can be recovered with "Restore Purchases").
Article 6 (Intellectual Property)
All rights to the App's program, screen designs, artwork, sound effects, music, and other content belong to the Developer (open source components included in the App are governed by their respective licenses, which you can view under Settings > Open Source Licenses in the App). You may not copy, distribute, or sell any of this without the Developer's permission.
Article 7 (Prohibited Conduct)
You must not modify save data, use programs that tamper with the game, or reverse-engineer the App and distribute it to others. The Developer is not responsible for any problems resulting from such actions (such as lost progress or being unable to use purchased items).
Article 8 (Limitation of Liability)
The Developer strives to provide the App reliably, but the App may stop working or saved data may be lost due to factors such as your device environment or operating system changes. Unless caused by the Developer's intentional misconduct or gross negligence, the Developer is not responsible for such issues.
Article 9 (Changes to These Terms)
The Developer may change these Terms when necessary, and will announce any changes through an App update or a notice screen in the App.
