Reel to the Stars Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 4, 2026
Reel to the Stars (the "App") is a fishing game made by the developer DGSTUDIO (the "Developer"). This policy explains what information the mobile version (iPhone/iPad, Android) and the Steam version (PC/Mac) handle, and how.
1. Personal information collected by the Developer: None
· The App has no sign-up or login, and the Developer does not operate any servers.
· The Developer does not collect or store information such as your name, email address, phone number, location, or contacts.
· The App does not use any analytics tools. Ads, payments, and cloud saves are handled by the third-party services listed below (Section 5).
2. Information stored on your device and in your own accounts
· The App stores your game progress (coins, upgrades, unlocked fishing spots, Fishdex, and the remaining HP of each fishing spot's Lord), purchased items, and settings (Sound FX, Vibration, Music volume, Language, and skill auto-use) on your device.
· To calculate your Idle Reward, the App also stores the last time you used the App and your earning speed over your last few runs.
· This information is not sent to the Developer. It is deleted when you delete the App or clear the App's data in your device settings.
· On iPhone/iPad, it may be included in your own iCloud backup, depending on your device's backup settings.
· Cloud saves: So you can keep playing even if you change devices, the App saves your game progress and purchase status to your own iCloud (iPhone/iPad), Saved Games in Google Play Games (Android), or Steam Cloud (the Steam version). The mobile version does not upload settings, while the Steam version uploads the entire save file (including settings). This storage belongs to your own account, and the Developer does not access or receive it. Data is transferred only between devices of the same type on the same account, and the cloud copy remains even if you delete the App. You can turn this off or delete it in each service's settings.
3. Permissions
· Vibration (Android): Used to give a short vibration at moments such as catching a big fish. You can turn it off in the App's Settings.
· Internet / network state: Used to load ads, process payments, and for cloud saves (Section 2).
· Advertising ID (Android) and App Tracking Transparency (iPhone/iPad): The advertising ID is used for personalized ads. On iPhone/iPad, the App asks once for permission to use the advertising ID (IDFA); if you decline, the game and ad rewards stay exactly the same.
· The App does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photo permissions.
4. Children's personal information
The Developer does not directly collect anyone's personal information. Information processed by the ad provider is as described in Section 5.
5. Information processed by third-party services
The services below process information under their own privacy policies, and the Developer does not receive or store that information.
· Google AdMob (ads, mobile version only): Shows ads when you tap to watch an ad to double your Idle Reward, and when you launch the App or reopen it after a while. Advertising IDs (the Android advertising ID, and the IDFA if you allowed it), IP address, device and app information, and ad view and click information may be processed. In regions where consent is required, such as Europe, you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice under Settings > Ad Privacy Options in the App. The Steam version has no ads. (policies.google.com/privacy)
· App Store / Google Play (payments, mobile version only): Process payment and purchase verification information when you buy coins or other items. Card and other payment method information is handled by Apple and Google, and the Developer does not receive it.
· Steam (the Steam version): Valve handles game purchases and Steam Cloud saves. (store.steampowered.com/privacy_agreement)
· Apple iCloud / Google Play Games services (cloud saves): Store the save data described in Section 2 in your own account. Play Games signs you in with your Play Games profile. (apple.com/legal/privacy · policies.google.com/privacy)
6. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the Developer will update the effective date and announce the change with an App update.
